This is what an hour of musical brain storming sounds like,
https://soundcloud.com/kyrieru/storm
Tends to be a bit all over the place. (*cough* 00:24 *cough*)
Anyhow, it's at the point where I need to start doing some music as I design levels, since the music actually kind of dictates certain elements. For instance, I sometimes pace the speed of the player's walk cycle and certain movements based on the first song you hear in the game. I'll also design levels around songs, if I've composed something that evokes certain themes.

POST ENDING STATEMENT. PROGRESS, ETC. BOOBS, ETC. NOT DEAD, ETC.
Did you post some music? All I'm getting is a blank block, which is a pity since I really like your music.

DeleteThere it is. It's alright, but you're right when you say parts of it are all over the place. Sort of a Mozart+Legend of Zelda.
DeleteI cannot fathom any universe where 'Mozart+Legend of Zelda' is a bad thing. It's pretty amazing that even rough brainstorming sort of tracks are that catchy, though-- you've certainly got an ear for memorable music.
DeleteI do like it myself, the first half feels perfect but about halfway through can tell it starts to wander off.
ReplyDeleteGlad to hear it, man with blood
ReplyDeleteI really like it! I'd love to hear more like this :D
ReplyDeleteDid you thought to Vivaldi when you called your soundtrack 'storm'? It was a nice Idea
