Things are not sorted out long term, but for now at least, I only lose 1-2 hours out of a day at most, compared to a few weeks ago when basically had to just lay around all day wondering if I was screwed.
For now, I am revising Kurovadis for release on Steam. I'm currently finishing up coloring CGs. To speed things up I worked with another artist who did the line art, and colored most of them, and I will be coloring the rest (and doing some edits, to keep things consistent). It will also have revisions to animations like Eroico did. After it's released, money probably won't be an issue for quite a while, if Eroico is any indication.
After the revision is done, I'm going to go straight back to working on Noaika. The problem has mostly been my health, so now that money is also stable, there's no reason to delay it.
Along the way I might try a small game jam type game or two for fun, but I won't be doing anything long term like Lufuclad, or any ongoing side games.
Yay!
ReplyDeleteI guess. Sorry, not sure what to say.
Happy that you're better, happy for Kurovadis Remastered, happy for progress towards Noaika.
Happy to hear you're going to return to Kurovadis, it was one of the first lewd games I played.

ReplyDelete"small game jam type game"
ReplyDeleteDoes that mean there's a chance we may see the "mario/sonic project" game someday? Cause it looked super fun to play yet silly enough to be more of a hi-score game than a story-based game.
That will be a full game later. By game jam type game, I mean games made in 1-7 days that are not made to be sold.
DeleteGood news all around. Health was the priority, and while a Kurovadis revision is welcome (I am practically certain to buy it), it's nowhere as exciting as the possibility of seeing Noaika at last. It probably looks amazing with the bigger sprites.
ReplyDeleteIt will be free for anyone who bought the original, so you wont need to buy it if you already did before.
DeleteUnlock code will work on the Steam demo, but a steam key can also be manually requested via email.
DeleteHappy to hear that you can get better(health), and happy that kurovadis will receive a new version. It's one of the games that i always end up coming back.
ReplyDeleteBelieve me or not, since your last post in August, I always pray for your health everytime I'm ready to sleep. I guess I owe him a lot.
ReplyDeleteYEIII! I'M GLAD TO SEE THAT! hope you have a nice day!

DeleteTake care of yourself.
ReplyDeleteKyrieru is alive !
ReplyDelete2020 is officially not sucking.
Take care of yourself tho! Don´t overwork yourself and don´t forget to take it easy once in a while! We don´t mind waiting longer as long as you don´t break yourself! = /
ReplyDeleteAll I'll need for updated versions is the receipt info I got by mail for those initial purchases right? I still got those from like, 2012 and eroico from 2013.
ReplyDeleteMan, it's been such a long time. Make more of that quality content so I can throw more of my fat stacks at you!
Eh? What's going with lufuclad , is it v38 is the last version?
ReplyDeleteLufuclad was set aside as an ongoing game. Instead I'm going to finish Noaika, and then Lufuclad will be on the table as a game to work on full time, as a normal project rather than weekly. The weekly updates where having a negative impact on the quality of the game.
DeleteAh yes , take care yourself. Don't overwork we can waiting for it
DeleteFuck yeah good to hear from you again not so much for the game developments but more because I was concerned for your health.
ReplyDeletewelcome back
ReplyDeleteI'm very happy to know you are better, health wise. I admire your work and health is indeed the most important thing. Take care of it.
ReplyDeleteBetter than the worst, but not better than awful, unfortunately.
DeleteWelcome back. Rest more!
ReplyDeleteSO good to know you got better. Take care.
